Kaynak: www.ozida.gov.tr “Towards an integrated approach to give physically disabled people entrance to the labour market.”
Disabled people living in Turkey haven’t equal opportunities to be at work and as such are limited by the lack of opportunity to take part in the social society. Despite the regulations (Law of Disabled and Labour 2005), the disabled still have tremendous difficulties to get a job (under supervised) conditions. The required link between the disabled and the employers is missing. An integrated approach on municipal level (despite the recently granted responsibilities to the municipalities) is absent. The cooperation between the relevant actors is weak. Detailed information about the capabilities of the disabled is missing. Tailor made vocational training are rare. The employers are not well aware of the opportunities to have disabled at work (under guided conditions) and detailed information about the demand side is missing.
This project is an Dutch - Turkish cooperation financied by the Dutch matra program. This website gives the basic information of the project, the progres and the possibility to discuss with us.
